Manager
A manager is assigned specific corporate responsibility. The manager will interface directly with clients, manage staff on engagements and review all work completed prior to Principal review. The manager will prepare proposals, price out engagements, approve work plans and insure engagements are accomplished professionally and on time. The position is also encouraged to participate in trade associations and represent McBee Associates by presenting at various seminars.
The manager is assigned responsibility for developing and conducting comprehensive educational sessions related to specific services provided by McBee Associates. The manager also is responsible for the review of new regulations and insuring the staff assigned is current on regulations. The position also has client development responsibilities. This is a salaried, exempt position and requires commuting to/between client sites and out-of-town travel as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Health Policy Administration, (MBA is desirable). CPA is a plus.
Technical Skills: 7-10 years experience in health care finance with a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role. 10 years of experience in staff financial consulting engagements or administration in health care finance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Performance Skills/Experience: Commanding knowledge of health care finance environment. Ability to ascertain project requirements, develops work plans, establishes time lines, and allocates resources. Ability to successfully market services to existing and prospective clients.
