Senior Consultant
Senior consultants are required to work independently at the client site. The position will, from time to time, supervise staff consultants in the absence of the consulting supervisor on consulting engagements. Senior consultants are expected to follow and establish work programs in performing account analysis, financial processing, reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations for the correction and improvement of internal, operational and management control systems and organizational unit performance. The position requires commuting to/between client sites and out-of-town travel as needed.
Particular areas of the company's expertise are accounts receivable management, third-party reimbursement, budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance. This is a salaried-exempt position.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Health Policy Administration with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. CPA is a plus.
Technical Skills: 2+ years experience in health care financial administration or consulting. Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail. Working and academic knowledge of standard accounting practices/procedures. Supervisory experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Access.
Performance Skills/Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of industry research issues and complete assigned projects. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Ability to lead a team in the completion of a project.
