Supervisor
A supervisor will manage client engagements which include developing work plans, reviewing staff work products, and preparing and presenting reports to clients. A supervisor will assist consulting managers in resolving logistics problems with engagements. Making recommendations for the correction and improvement of internal, operational and management control systems and organizational unit performance is another essential function of this position. Other responsibilities include the preparation of staff project and performance reviews and being assigned specific company responsibilities. This position also has client development responsibilities. Supervisors are encouraged to participate in trade associations and represent McBee Associates by presenting at various seminars.
The supervisor will be assigned topics to present at internal training sessions. Supervisors also participate in the management of our regional offices. This position requires commuting to/between client sites and out-of-town travel as needed.
Particular areas of the company's expertise are accounts receivable management, third-party reimbursement, budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance. This is a salaried, exempt position.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Health Policy Administration, (MBA is desirable). CPA is a plus.
Technical Skills: 3+ years of experience in staff financial consulting engagements or administration in health care finance. 2 years of supervisory or team leader skills. Superior analytical skills and an attention to detail. Thorough working and academic knowledge of standard accounting practices/procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Working knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Access.
Performance Skills/Experience: Ability to utilize commanding knowledge of industry resources to research issues, completes assigned projects, and recommend product enhancements. Ability to ascertain project requirements, develops work plans, establishes time lines and allocates resources.
