Establish Formal Goals
Working with our client, McBee Associates establishes specific and measurable goals for the interim manager. The client and the interim manager agree on an agenda for meeting these goals.
Assessments
McBee Associates' interim manager assesses departmental operations. The assessment report to management addresses needed performance improvements and a timeline for completion.
Status Reports
The interim manager keeps the client informed of progress through biweekly meetings. A status report identifies accomplishments and open issues. With detailed progress measurements the work program can be adjusted, as needed.
Transition
McBee Associates recognizes that the success of an interim management engagement relates directly to the smoothness of the transition to a permanent manager. To ensure successful transition, the interim manager assists with recruitment and mentors the new manager, remaining behind the scenes to provide any necessary on-going support.
