Medicare Episode Management Program
Proactive episode management enables agencies to identify and resolve issues
before they become problems. The Medicare Episode Management Program is a
continuous, proactive review of open episodes designed to ensure the provision
of appropriate levels of care to Medicare beneficiaries. McBee Associates
provides hands-on training and works on site with the agency's clinical
management utilizing newly implemented tools and processes. Upon completion of
the initial implementation, weekly monitoring is provided to ensure success.
Once the episode management process has been fine-tuned in a select few
agencies, the process is documented and rolled out to the remainder of the
organization.
